Melamine

Description: Melamine is an organic base compound with the chemical formula C₃H₆N₆, containing up to 66% nitrogen. It is slightly soluble in water, heat-resistant, odorless, resistant to oils and solvents, and its IUPAC name is 1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triamine.

• Engineered wood production: Melamine is used as a surface layer for artificial wood thanks to its scratch resistance, low solubility in water, and resistance to oils and solvents.
• Adhesive production: Known as a strong and stable adhesive, melamine is relatively non-toxic and safe upon skin contact, producing glues with high bonding strength and long durability.
• Household materials and toys: Melamine helps products maintain vibrant colors, resist damage from humidity and weather, and remain safe for external contact.
• Fertilizer production: When reacting with formaldehyde, melamine forms melamine resin, applied in fertilizer manufacturing.
